For many residents of Abuja, the fear of the terror group, Boko Haram, is the beginning of wisdom as many of them preferred to stay indoor instead of going out to celebrate the end of the Muslim fasting period.

According to PMNews, many of Abuja residents yesterday shun public places, making many places known for being jam-packed by crowds in festive periods to be scanty of people.
The Eid praying ground did not witness the presence of many faithfuls, as many of them avoided being bombed by the insurgent group that specialises in causing havoc in crowded places.

Even the Millennium Park that can boast of crowds on holidays had just few people yesterday, although an armoured vehicle was stationed, hoping to ward off attackers.
Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, had witnessed three bomb attacks by Boko Haram since April this year, with over 120 people dead.
It would be recalled that just yesterday, an explosion rocked Kano, killing many.
