P-Square Reacts To Breakup Rumours

 

P-Square’s publicist, Bayo Adetu has debunked the rumour that P-square and their elder brother Jude, who also doubles as their manager have ended their working relationship.

Bayo said neither are the twin brothers breaking up, nor is Jude leaving them. He said; "I am too busy to give some wanna be blogger traffic, I don’t know where that report is coming from". Maybe they just want to get traffic to their site. It’s baseless and untrue.

2015 Elections: “Nobody Can Stop My Presidential Ambition” – Tinubu

Former Governor of Lagos State and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has declared that nobody can stop his ambition in 2015 if he declares for the presidency or any public office. 

Tinubu said he has the right to be the President of Nigeria regardless of his religion and state of origin, urging those mounting opposition against his political aspiration to find something else to do.

“We must choose the right person to lead the battle. And nobody, no one under the sun, under the United Nations Human Rights Charter can stop a Bola Tinubu’s ambition. “If I want to be the President, I have that right, regardless of which zone, religion and which state,” said the APC leader who spoke amidst heightened rumour that the opposition party was planning a Muslim-Muslim ticket, which will feature Muhammadu Buhari and Tinubu in the 2015 presidential election. 

Speaking on Wednesday at the APC secretariat in Lagos, the former governor said APC will feature the best candidate in 2015 election, whether the person is a Christian or Muslim. Tinubu later told the party members, who asked him about his decision on the 2015 presidency, “I will let you know my decision.” 

Tinubu also took a swipe at the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the state of the nation, saying that President Goodluck Jonathan-led PDP government has failed Nigerians in terms of security of lives and properties, youth employment and delivering dividends of democracy to Nigerians. “The solution to the suffering of the masses is not about the prayer of a pastor or about the Islamic cleric". 

What we are talking about is not an election of a vicar or bishop not of a Muslim Imam or cleric; it is about individual with the character and the brain and the capacity to govern. “If you are a Christian and you are good, you will win our support". “If you are a Muslim and you are good, you will win our support. 

At the time of need, we must choose right leaders to face the battle and confront the challenge facing the country,” Tinubu said

‘There’ll Be More Bomb Blasts And Jonathan Knows Those Responsible’ – Primate Ayodele Prophecies

Founder, Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Ayodele whose predictions are said to always come to pass has revealed in a recent interview that there will be more bomb blasts in the nation.

He said since security intelligence does not recognise prophecy, bloodletting will continue. According to him, there are moles in the Presidency, the Senate, House Of Representatives, SSS, Nigeria Police Force, the Army, Air Force and the Navy who give information to these terrorists and President Jonathan knows who they are but is afraid to stand up to them, adding that their next targets are shopping malls and markets. He explained that with prayers, these problems can be solved but the nation’s leaders have soiled their hands in evil acts and they derive pleasure in the shedding of blood.

He said,  

“If Jonathan comes back 100 times to rule this country, he won’t be able to solve the problems. He does not listen to the voice of God, flattery and deceit are good music to him. When you praise him he is always happy. Most of the pastors he goes to are afraid to tell him the truth".

There is red signal all over the country.” On the confab, he said they will speak the mind of the people and make recommendations but the government will not listen. On the political situation in the country, he said members of the All Progressives Congress, APC will defect to PDP before the 2015 elections and if APC refuses to give Muhammadu Buhari the ticket to contest the presidency he will quit, adding that there will be no elections in some state. He called on all governors to pray so as not to lose four of their own to the cold hands of death. On the abducted students, he said they will come out unhurt.

Speaking on Super Eagles and the World Cup, he said they will try but they won’t get to the semi-final and Coach Stephen Keshi will quit coaching them after the World Cup. On the missing Malaysian flight, he said the Malaysian government should be held responsible because they know its whereabouts.

Peter & Paul Okoye Finally Splits; Is It Over With P-Square?

Seems like the Okoye brothers are having issues as they have they have been said to be in disagreement over everything these days.

According to report, the twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square have been having issues for a while.

It was gathered from industry sources that the two brothers engaged in a physical combat on Wednesday April 16th during rehearsals and they had to be separated by their dancers. people are pointing accusing fingers at one of the wives for being the cause of some of the problems between the brothers.

[Android OS Update] KitKat updates for Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z to arrive in May

Sony had already announced that the Android 4.4 KitKat update for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z was under development and the new firmware would be available in May or June. Now, we have a confirmation that the update is scheduled to roll out for the above mentioned devices, starting in May, which is the better case scenario.

The updated product page of Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z reveal that the upcoming update will start rolling in a month's time. However, there is no timeline provided, but we expect the new firmware to reach consumers by the end of May.

10-Month Old Baby Miraculously Survives Nyanya Bomb Blast

 

A 10-month old baby who has been identified as Goodness survived the deadly Nyanya bomb blast which killed over 100 and injured about 124.

Goodness is said to be the daughter of a petty trader who trades at the motor park. She was found among dead bodies while rescue team were trying to separate the bodies.

The only injury she has is a swollen right eye, while her mother died during the incident.

NDLEA Arrests Pakistani Student With N228m Worth Of Heroin In Lagos

A Pakistani student, Iftikiha Arslan, who is believed to be working for a Pakistani drug cartel, has been arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for trafficking 25.4 kilogrammes of heroin.

 Head of Public Affairs of NDLEA, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, said the drug was discovered in the suspect’s luggage during inward screening of passengers on board Qatar airline flight. It was believed that Arslan left Lahore, Pakistan with the drugs to Abu Dhabi then to Doha from where he connected to Lagos.

The estimated street value of the seized drug was said to be N228m.

MTN Signs Banky W, Dr SID, Sound Sultan, Harrysong As Ambassadors

 

Banky W, DR SID, Sound Sultan and Harrysong have signed up with MTN Nigeria as latest set of brand ambassadors for the telecoms giant.

Insiders say all fours artistes have been in talks with the telecoms giant for sometime, and the deal has now been sealed. Banky, Sultan, SID and Harrysong were all featured on the last MTN Loud in Naija Tour which took place from November to December 2013 in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Ibadan.

The quartet’s songs were also included in the last two mixtapes – ‘#MTNLoudInNaijaMix’ and ‘Loud In Naija Valentine 2014 Mix’ MTN released in December and February respectively. ‘There are finalizing the deals with them and will unveil the guys pretty soon’, an insider at MTN tells us. When NET reached the artistes, they remained silent, not responding to our queries. MTN’s additional signing, we are told, was influenced by the success of the current caller back tunes from current ambassadors – Davido, Wizkid, KCEE, Don Jazzy, D’Prince, Iyanya, Praiz, Chidinma, iMyke and Tiwa Savage. No official word yet from MTN or their reps.
