CARNIRIV 2014

CARNIRIV 2014 is here again with all the excitement and happiness it brings to all in and around Rivers State. Let me start by saying  CARNIRIV  is Africa’s largest carnival and Nigeria’s oldest carnival – this owing largely to the pre-extant CARNIRIV ’88 franchise. Every edition of the carnival, since its inception, has brought citizens of the state and visitors alike out on to the streets of Port Harcourt in unbridled joy and amazement, enjoying and appreciating the cultures of the people of Rivers State.

Without a doubt this year’s CARNIRIV tagged: CARNIRIV 2014 – One Love, One People promises to be the best of all. As we know, the organizers (Rivers State Tourism Development Agency – RSTDA) of this mega Carnival  always find a way to improve on perfection every year. But don’t take my word for it, see what the distinguished governor of Rivers State has to say about CARNIRIV:

“We have always improved, we have always added value, and we have always expanded on the management and delivery of this carnival. This state has more than enough to showcase for the celebration of CARNIRIV; we have more than enough to highlight to the world, amazing materials for tourism,”

There you have it, begin to plan your December proper by including CARNIRIV 2014 in your schedule, the Carnival starts on the 13th of December with Miss Carniriv Pageant and ends on the 20th of December 2014.
