Question 2: Write an article suitable for publication in your school magazine on the need to inculcate good moral values in the youth
Answer To
Question 2: The morals and values of today society have
really changed.
For an example;
The younger generation have little respect for
elders, their parents or authority figures which
leads to a higher crime rate among our
children.
This is the reason there is no respect for others
belongings, and people take what they want
instead of asking for it.
The reason the morals and values are like they
are in today’s society, is because the parents
do not take the time to teach their children, to
show respect to their elders or to show respect
for others.
They are not taught the value of family. so
instead the children are spoiled with material
belongings which puts the parents in a position
of having to by them what they want regardless
of the cost this instills lack of morals and greed
in our children.
The rate of teen pregnancy is a lot higher and
the number of women being pregnant without
being married is higher than it was in years
past.
The lack of morals has led to the violence and
the drug use by society today.
I believe that this stems from the type of
programing that our youth are watching on
television today and they are using the
characters on television, and musicians as role
models rather than their parents.
Another reason for the lack of morals and
values is both parents have to work, due to the
shape of our economy which leaves the children
without proper guidance and allowing them to
learn from bad examples.
There are a lot of young parents that are into
partying and so they do not supervise their
children and they run lose getting into trouble.
We need to instill better morals in our children
and teach our youth the family values to do this
we need to start spending quality time with our
children, and monitor what our children are
watching on television.
We should spend more family time with our
children either playing games , planting a
garden, or helping with their school work.
We could teach children better morals and values
by being a good role model for
Question 3 Answer
best to improve the quality of education is
to increase teacher’s salary.
Nowadays, how to provide qualitative education
arouse widely attention. Many people indicate
that the best way is to increase the teacher’s
income. Increasing salary of teacher is a great
idea which could stimulate teachers to make
more efforts on teaching and solve a bunch of
problems for teachers. Admittedly, in my
opinion, it is not the best way to improve the
quality of the education.
I reckon that there
are some better ideas to achieve the better
quality of education, namely, rising the
teacher’s social status and improving the
“hardware” of school.
Firstly, rising teacher’s social status is a more
convincing way than increasing the salary.
Because nowadays the teachers are not short of
salary, they are actually lacking of the social
values. If people treats them not just being
teachers, moreover, as honorable educators to
respect, that would have a better effect than
just rising their incomes.
If people respect the
teacher, that means people consider the
education as a more important business, which is
the teacher’s really demanded. Therefore,
increasing the teacher’s social values,which is a
satisfaction spiritually, would play a more
significant role than just adding their salaries.
Furthermore, improving the “hardware” of
school is another one of the best ways to solve
the problem. Students do not only acquire
knowledge from their teachers and textbooks.
They could learn from the curious things all the
time so that the hardware is gradually play as a
key. “hardware” means the equipment of school
such as Gym center, swimming pool, Chemistry
labs, etc. Which students could acquire education
practically. I think those are the high-quality
educations because students actually struggle
or fight for the answers.
According to the labs
or the swim practices, students can truly learnt
from them. For example, I used to feel hard to
remember all sorts of the principles of the
chemical reactions, indicating that they are
difficult to keep in memory. However, after I
did the labs, the reactions were even hard for
me to forget because I really saw how the
reactions happened and truly learnt from those
labs. So with the better hardware in school, the
higher quality the education will be.
Therefore, I am firmly convinced that there are
certainly several ways to increase the education
quality more efficiently than increase the
teacher’s income, such as increasing their social
attention or spending money on the school
equipments.
